We take immense pleasure in inviting you to the OSSICON 2010 (Obesity Surgery Society of India National Conference), at Jaipur, India from 5th - 7th March, 2010.

OSSICON 2010 will focus on the vital aspects in the field of obesity and metabolic surgery. It will provide opportunities to those intending to share novel experiences and advanced skills with surgeons, specialists and renowned faculty from all over the world; it will also serve as an excellent forum for direct interaction.

The Organization Commitee will ensure that this becomes a unique and memorable event. The three-day conference will showcase a rich feast of academics, focusing on major issues in the field of Bariatrics and Metabolic Surgery, particularly those involving the Indian perspective.

The first day provides orientation in Bariatric Surgery. The delegates will be divided into small groups to discuss various issues on real patients with renowned national faculty. The groups will also have hands-on experience with gastric banding and sleeve gastrectomy in a dry lab.

On the second and third day, delegates will experience academic and professional excellence, along with a live operative workshop by distinguished international and national faculty, as well as satellite transmission from across the world.

The Conference will be even more interesting as it is being held in the Pink City (Jaipur), a top tourist destination and a corner of the Golden Triangle (with New Delhi and Agra) that is India's major tourist route.
